Some nights as I lay there beneath the sheets, I cannot help but toss and turn below that weighing veil. And for a moment, and only a moment...do I feel my body lift from the bed. As if I'm rising. As if I'm flying.

The weight of darkness and light pulling at my feet. I cannot help but wonder, were I not held so delicately, where would I wander silently to? Where would I go?

Would I be dreaming? Or would there be nothing left for me at all?
