Why is death and violence okay to view in the U.S. of A., but not sexual themes? I submit that it is because of the puritanical view of the early fanatical colonists, the witch hunters, the bible thumpers. Sure the apologist of today may make a very good person, but their logic is inherently flawed because they believe in something of which they have no more evidence of than society does of other mythical beings, such as Zeus, Hercules, Athena, and a host of other gods. The Christian God, is not a god of love, he is a god of hatred and violence, just like the god of the Hebrews, and the god of Islam. That is if you see them as gods, if you are like me however, you realize that gods are mans way of inventing reasons for things they don't understand. For example feelings of anger, feelings of homophobia, feelings of betrayal, rejection, dealing with losses and dealing with victory, controlling people... all these reasons and many more we humans invented gods to deal with the shit that we cannot explain.
