'Sprout of Deku Bagpipes'

Share

One of the most amazing things you can do as a Deku Scrub is turning your ocarina(?) into enormous bagpipes sprouting from your back and play your sonata of choice.

/Made with watered acrylics and a superb ink pen in these weeks of Majora's Mask 3d mood.

I can't believe I've neglected to tell you that this is my favorite thing.

Well, here goes. This is my favorite thing.

Really though, very impressive. I'm a big fan of your art style. Keep it up!

Wooow! This is really well made! Great job

Am playing Majora's Mask for the first time with the 3DS version and its quite marvelous. I'm glad I can truly appreciate your work since I have played it.

You should totally do the others(though I have just gotten the Goron mask).

I like the "kid-like" look to it. Is that a style you always do, or did you do that because the Deku Shrub looks like a little child? If not, it'd be cool to have say, the Goron Link (if you decide to do it) be a different art style since he's more brutish, etc.

Butzbo responds:

Woah, well I originally chose Deku-Link as a favourite from the bunch which may be a bit closer to what I normally draw; also it's such a mysterious version of Link you are forced to begin the game with, I think it really captures the whole slightly unsettling mood of the game.

Although now that you mention it, all masked transformations of Link have interesting stories and designs, I may make some more of these for practice :)

Lo hiciste con acrilico??? O.o wow felicidades, esta realmente increible

Butzbo responds:

Whow, gracias racth!

Oh shit its awesome to see some Majoras Mask artwork from you. Its just so...suitable for someone like you

Butzbo responds:

Thanks Wegra-man, I'd say it's one of the Zelda games with some of the most intriguing and curious character designs!
