Slumber Lillies are quite a common plant in the forests nearby and have a light relaxing effect to whomever its light shines on or hears the chiming of its bells on the wind. And since the effect is quite weak and harmless the DHMC have considered it safe to be used. You can usually find them at your local florist, or growing near windy meadows.

Some establishments that use these peculiar flora include: spa's, salons, some bars, retirement homes, rehabilitation centers and hospitals. Their relaxing effect is light enough that you can ignore it if needed, but still noticably helps those who need some help calming down from a stressful situation.

Slumber Lillies are rated a 1-1-2 on the DHMC's Hypnotic Assesment Scale*

So uhhh... I decided to make a fictional assesment scale for my fictional public safety department. It's a bit janky but I like it.

*The scale has three values: Severity, Resistance, and Range, which can vary from 1-5

First value denotes how strong and noticable its effects are. Something that make you a little horny or a little fuzzy scores a 1, while something that can cause a complete personality overhaul, like turning you into a mindless sex crazed slave scores a 5.

Second value denotes how hard it is to resist. if you can easily look away or otherwise ignore it, it scores a 1. If it actively overloads your head leaving no room for fighting back and is otherwise permanent without outside help than it scores a 5.

Third value is simply range, how many people can it affect at once? 1 of course scores a 1, but if it can affect around the population of a small city or more, at the same time, it scores a 5.

The scale applies to people, items, or phenomena.

Examples:

Basic hypnotist 1-1-1

Drone visor 3-2-1 (depends on model)

Subtle hypnotic TV advertisement 1-1-5
