Around 85 million years ago, the pterosaur Pteranodon longiceps soars over a beach along the Western Interior Seaway (a shallow sea which covered much of central North America during the Cretaceous Period).

This was a commission I did for my psychologist, who wanted a beach scene to decorate his office. The pterosaur, however, is something I added to give the scene my own personal touch.
