I'm not sure if it's more impressive that Oda managed to keep it going for over a decade and 1000 chapters or more depressing that he's managed to drag it out this long without ever getting close to an ending.

Wow I haven't posted here in a while, but I still got a lot of people who followed me still, lol. Sorry lmao! I'll try to post here more often!
Like a lot of fans, I found One Piece through the 4kids dub when I was just 13 and upon finding out about the original (through the 4kids forums nonetheless, lol) I was hooked on the series. Baratie was definitely when One Piece Piqued my interest, but it wasn't until the famous Luffy/Nami scene in Arlong Park when I decided I'd read One Piece for the rest of my life. I started reading the manga exclusively just about 10 years ago.
It has been a marvelous experience through these year that have inspired not only the way I draw but the way I write my stories. Oda is a fantastic story teller and I'm so glad One Piece exists. Its my favorite comic of all time and I can't wait to read more!

I like to think of One Piece similar to the MCU. There's just a lot of story to tell. I just see Passion in this project and Shonen Jump/Shueisha are lucky to have him!
