Nairda redesign

One day I was looking through old character designs I made of bosses from an old RPG I made (using the OHRRPGCE engine). I was looking through some of the doppleganger-type enemies and I stumbled upon Nairda, Adrian's demonic doppleganger. I decided it'd be fun to try and redesign him, so I did. Turned out pretty good, I'd say. I should do more of these types of redesigns, they're a fun little exercise.

Some of you may be wondering what's up with his legs. See, when I was conceptualizing this new design, I decided giving him torn up clothes would make him more interesting. When I drew the clothes, I thought it'd be cool to apply the same mentality to his skin, so he lacks skin below his ribcage. Pretty idea, eh? Also, he lacks thumbs for the same reason: He's a tore up demon, I guess.

Also, I realize the background is shit. I was focusing on the character design, so the background has no details to speak of. Oh well.

Awesome

The best part about designing demons and stuff is you can make them look however the heck you want without it ceasing to make sense. Although not making sense is fun in its own way :3

Yeah, evil things are pretty fun to draw for me. Lots of pools of fear to draw from when it comes to things like that. I want to do more like this, but haven't yet. Glad you liked this!

creepy, but nice...

nice

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well thanks
