I think the beauty of the sky has been ruined by the darkness. I think a degree of rim lighting should be placed on the characters that are sadly lost in the dark scenery. Even some subtle glows of remaining light on the characters would bring them out a bit more because right now the viewer doesn't have a great deal of objects to view
