W. Nelson : Always On My Mind

Share

Willie Nelson : Always On My Mind is a tribute piece of work to country song singer from America. Done him in vector based, i tried to keep both realistic and my own cartoonic touch for this one, i personally think it's pretty good ; not sure how professionals will think of it, but i like it myself.

The whole scenery for this one was inspired from Willie Nelson very own version of "Always On My Mind".

Always On My Mind lyric :
-------------------------
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
And maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
If I made you feel second best
Girl I'm sorry I was blind

You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

And maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time

But you were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Tell me
tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
And give me
Give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied
I'll keep you satisfied

Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time

But you were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

don't usually like vector work - but I sort of enjoy how simple this is and how it is composed. nice.
