Soccer Gryphon 3 of 3

Author Comments

The 3rd and final Gryphons in the series of soccer gryphons commissioned for a soccer team's bus in CA. THAT was a very well paying job! I spent the MOST time on this one particularly.

And, NO I will NOT disclose how much I was paid.

I mostly draw everything in color erase pencils, however I also used graphite on this. Then I scanned and edited it it in Photoshop 6, then colored it.

They were originally intended to have backgrounds. But as they progressed, the client wanted ONLY white. So, since he's paying that's what I did!

5 stars for free!
*cheers*

very cool

You should send this (or another piece) to a soccer club in England-- I'm sure some English club would love to hire someone to draw Gryphon Art. Seems like a lot of English teams have ties to a gryphon-like symbol that would come from history or a crest (I might be just thinking things up, but idk). Their clubs pay a lot of money.

Viva Portugal =P

Nice!

I'm not normally a fan of fantasy art, but some thing about seeing a gryphon play soccer makes me smile.
