This was influenced by a couple things. Warhammer (note the small Skull Rune of Khorne on the machine gun on the right), and a metal band. Specifically One Man Army and The Undead Quartet. Indeed one of my favorite bands. I could try explaining the concept as I originally saw it my mind, but that would take all the fun out of making your own personal interpretation. One thing to bear in mind about my art: You can never read too deeply into anything I create.

Khorne ;)

i love this, at first i thought it as a twisted image of jesus....then i saw the khorne sign haha awesome keep it up i love you stuff :D

bitterritter responds:

Thank you. Indeed..Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows..only that it does. though after the fact I felt that I should've made the fact that it was Khornate more apparent, as opposed to Christian. It was really a bit of both, I suppose. Im truth, I enjoy making a mockery of Christianity whenever possible. And I'm thoroughly obsessed with Warhammer. So I decided to have a little bit of both worlds.

bitterritter responds:

Well thank you! I consider that a compliment. I usually do my best to get others to take a step back and think "holy shit..what part of your twisted mind did that come from?!".
