I'VE FUCKING ASCENDED!!!

Model made in Paint 3D and detailed in Krita!

Here's the original model too, for context as to just how much different that little coat of digital paint made the final piece.

Rest assured, I created all the assets in this picture, I didn't just color over someone else's work like a total pleb, it was all me just trying to conduct a little mixed medium experiment.

And I'd say this experiment was something of a success!

That said, like anything I'm new to (and even experienced with) I would like to hear some critique as to what everyone thinks of this. So you know, feel free to rip me a new proverbial asshole with a review!

I really like your 3D stuff! I hope you do more of these. I think it looks great. But in the first photo, the shadow on the chin and the legs look a bit weird. The 3D model looks awesome. You made me want to make something with Paint 3D! Also you can use photos of these models with transparent backgrounds to decorate your website.

Thanks man!
Yeah, I was trying to do the whole cross-hatch shading thing which I never could fully get the hang of but I thought would work well for what I was going for here.

It really is a surprisingly neat little program once you get a feel for how it works. Maybe I'll find a good way to integrate it into animation at some point without going full-on uncanny horror show with it...
Or maybe I'll just go full-on uncanny horror show with it, the possibilities are endless!
