I always loved landscape pieces, and this one was done great. I ,unfortunately, wasn't able to enter the contest myself, but it's still great to see the entries.
Lord of the Hogwarts

Hey guys! I just finished up this piece I made for Jazza's art competition of this month, "Lord of the Hogwarts!" I know that Jazza wanted actual character interaction for the pieces, but I was personally struggling with accomplishing it, so I ended up going for an environmental mash-up of the two! I feel like it also came off (un-intentionally) like a book illustration, which I think is pretty cool. :D
This took a long time, full of brain-storming mixed in with LOTS of ups and downs artistically, but I'm just glad I was able to go a little further out of my comfort zone and could do something for this! Love you guys and talk to you soon! <3

Totally loving it. So the owls are coming to Shire to deliver the Hogwarts admission for Frodo. How awesome it'll be :)
