A portrait I did for a class, but at the time of doing/finishing, I was extremely tired so of course it's not the best thing ever.

I would make it look better, but it's out of my hands now.

Tools: #2 Ticonderoga Pencil, INC Soft Scripts 0.7mm mechanical pencil
Time: Probably 4 hours.

The eyes

they look fake, like from an anime or something. Sorry, i think you should practice more. Well, i have to admit it actually does look like Obama.

beautikillz responds:

You're so right, they DO look fake as hell.

Like anime eyes.
This is old art, but I still appreciate you pointing that out, so thanks.

Good practice

I think you did a great job with the shading but it doesn't look like you were very enthusiastic about working on this. As a tip for working with human faces, you should take your pencil and measure the angles, it really helps in capturing the characteristics. It helps defines who the person is better as well. Remember to always look at your reference when drawing too! I think this is a great practice piece. C:

its obama right? because he really looks younger than he is more folds in his face and a bigger head would fix that but nice ceep on working

beautikillz responds:

More folds, you're totally right. Why didn't I think of it before?

I really wish I would've.
