I recently started doing some pirate things. This came out of it... aaaand she's just that badass. Heheh!

For the record, here is some information on the character itself:

~She has always had tattoos on her face; the designs just change often.
~She was originally a character made for the Jak and Daxter Universe.
~Her name is Siyenna, derived from sienna.

Now, for more about my art in general:
~If I don't post a background with it, it's usually just a portrait.
~MOST CASES scars on my characters will be lighter or darker colors of the skin tone.
~I tend to do a LOT of flats, and sometimes seldom finish things because of life drama/events.
~I draw inspiration for my style from Shoujo Manga, so I tend to leave out backgrounds and add special effects backgrounds for a more dreamy or fantastical effect.
~I also draw a certain race made up by user McFoodle here on Newgrounds. The ears came from one of his other races that have a similar style, so it may just seem awkward because of that, but I assure you they are close to anatomically correct for the character.
