Thank you. Roshi doesn't get enough of the attention he deserves.

I don't miss the show but he was tied for status as my favorite character: it is a toss up between him and Majin Boo (spelled Boo, not Buu, because in case you didn't notice, the names of the father, the son and the creation are Bibidi, Babidi and Boo, which comes from the song in the Disney's Cinderella song, and it IS spelled Boo according to the lyrics). The childlike Boo, not the fat one or the other forms. I thought the show as a whole was stupid, but that just hangs with me as the ultimate symbol of destructive force, just this thing that didn't talk, didn't love, didn't care about pride or have any objectives but to destroy anything that moves, and nothing could fight against, who knows what it's thinking or how intelligent it is, but it doesn't care about anything you throw against it, and it doesn't need any goofy gimmicks to win. But kamesennin was funny and as badass as a human could be. And the fight he had with Tenshinhan which he conceded in the second budukai competition in DB is the fight scene that stays with me as the most memorable.

Of course, this is him in one of his less admirable moments, but who am I to judge, that's who he was, after all....
