KARMA OR EGO? [Eyestrain]

Share

DeviantArt - Tumblr

Been a while since I've drawn something of substance (i.e. not doodles or sketches, etc.). Everything's been feeling frustrating, like nothing is coming out right/cooperating, and I feel like I've been getting more impatient...

Been a good while since I've drawn something eyestrain-ey, too.

What this is supposed to mean? idk, weirdness for the sake of weirdness. I just wanted to get something into a more finished composition. I was thinking a bit about ol' Pleasure Island, with the donkeys (yeah, this is supposed to be a donkey body. Above it is an "endless knot" [a symbol for karma] with some thumbs-up/thumbs-down inside too.). Y'know, kinda' fucked up to do that to kids, y'know? Was it really karma, or just a magical ego trip?

I hope you like it!

its beautiful and captivating to me, if that makes sense. i love when raw emotions seep out of work and into you, and i also just sort of love the way you line things in general. mwah.

Ooouuuugh (positive), thank you very much! 8D 👍‍

Hope you're doing okay :o
This piece looks SUPER good though, I don't think I've ever seen a chimera thats looked quite like this before. It's expression is super interesting. I can really sense of a tone of absolute frustration from this

AshlynniisBrackets responds:

I'm doing fine I think. Increasing frustration is just an annoying part lmao.
Thank you kindly! 8D 👍‍ "Pleasure Island" has always kind of pissed me off, and it appears that frustration came across well on the face.
