A picture that's been over 3 years coming, mostly as a result of my inability to decide most of the design spects.
this should be finished soon after being redrawn on A2 size paper (half poster size). Ignore the red parts in the pic. They're stuff left on my scanner from a previous pic

As far as illustration goes, drawing your own depiction of another image is no different to drawing a real model, object or scene. The focus is exactly the same and is great practice for an amateur* artist
