serpent of the depths

I've been drawing this creature most of the time at night. In the dark the contrast is more viseble. I really needed to see the contrast well because it's a dark painting.

I've use Coral Painter for the serpent and Photoshop for the background. It took me about 25 hours. The water was a horrible job. I'm bad in it. I never draw water, so I've learned alot after drawing this.

This is a deepsea serpent/dragon That's why he has glowing thingies in and on him. I got the idea it on The pokemon kyorge and The Twilight marks of legend of Zelda.

It's drawn in a totally different style! But I've used some of the scale styles before.

I'm real Happy With it! I hope some of you too :D

Sky, water and the monster did not get along

If taken separately, the three things are done well enough, but the first two and the third fused together make a mess.
Sky and water in fact (and as for water i'm talking about the part where the monster comes out with the torso, because near the tail it's not done just as well) show a different staining pattern than that of the giant water snake.
While the landscape is very vague, the mythical beast is much flatter and has very defined boundaries, and if blurred, as you did for example at the end of the tail, everything would had an airr of mysticism and all together would have been more pleasing to the eye. But as it is now there's a kind of step between the two elements of your drawing
