A small part of a bigger illustration. But This show the amount of detail better.

In Norse mythology, NÃ-ðhöggr is a dragon who eats the roots of the World Tree, Yggdrasill.

I tried to make him worm and deer like. and also deadly and rotten.

anyway enjoy

A cool and nifty Dragon

Very nice work almost feel like those eyes could have more of a glow about them, some nice dragon element with some nice structure here and really nice detail from line work to everything else, A cool and nifty Dragon you have designed the line work ofcourse is something really nice smooth and well detailed very well structured too.

An amazing piece of art you've got here, really liking that it looks all putrid and decaying.

Wow...

First drawing of Norse mythology Ive seen on NG.

Post the whole thing? :D

I can imagine walking around in the woods near my house and it coming out of the ground and eating me. The details are amazing. The scales look like tree bark, is that what you are going for? I've heard of Yggdrasill, from a book mayhaps. Why does he eat trees? that sounds disgusting. Thanks for the awesome work of art!

Amazing love your work man

This is really great I'm a big Norwegian mythology buff so I appreciate this, SWEET
