A reference for the main legendaries of my upcoming pokemon tabletop rpg campaign.
These 7 pokemon can combine together to make what would figuratively be the box art legendary of the game. A massive rainbow dragon, with that dragon having 2 forms. A corrupted version, and a cured one.
The narrative of the region, is that it's back in the history of the pokemon world, a bit like Legends Arceus, during the pokemon equivalent of the 1920's, during the height of what could be considered the pokemon worlds equivalent of World War 1.
And the narrative's "Evil Team" who's current working title is "Team Renewal" are a radical group of environmentalists, who having looked at the massive damage the war is doing to pokemon and the environment, have become convinced that the only way to stop humanity from destroying the land completely with the war, is to wipe out nearly all humans from the region.
And they intend to do this, by gathering the parts of the great prism dragon, then using some of the tools of chemical warfare developed during the war to have the dragon form in a powerful and enraged state. Who's not only a nearly unstoppably powerful pokemon on its own, but would also psychically influence the pokemon of the region to rampage simultaneously.
With only a small number of humans, who hid away before hand, being able to survive and return once the rampage was over to start a new era which lives in harmony with pokemon. Rather than exploiting them as disposable weapons of war.
The players are a bunch of kids hidden away on a farm by their parents to keep them safe from the front lines of the war. Who accidentally stumble upon the underground temple holding the dormant segments of the prism dragon. Which appear like colored crystal orbs on a pedestal in an underground temple.
They will only be able to grab a single orb before escaping, but one piece missing is enough to halt Team Renewals plans. And with some clever stealth, they will become the only individuals aware of what is really at stake if Team Renewal is to succeed.
All made worse by them being a bunch of children in the middle of a war. As almost anyone who otherwise could have stepped in to help them will already have their hands full with the fighting, and not be particularly inclined to take a group of children seriously.
So, with only a level 5 starting pokemon for each player, they will have to adventure themselves to try and track down as many of the legendary prism pokemon as they can, growing stronger along the way.
And facing the greater difficulty in befriending each new prism pokemon they add to the team, as team renewal deliberately mistreat these legendary pokemon to have them turn against humanity in preparation for their apocalyptic rampage.
With the secret goal of the campaign being to find and befriend at least 4 out of the 7 pokemon. So that when they are inevitably overpowered by team renewal, their influence of kindness and friendship will have a majority of influence over the combined corrupted dragon. Giving it the willpower to break free from it's rampage before it's too late.
(so they're literally gonna stop the apocalypse with the power of friendship and a love of pokemon.)
Whichever pokemon of the 7 they pick will essentially function like a shared extra starter for the group. Each of the seven having a specialty, giving a significant buff to all trainers and pokemon of the entire adventuring party.
Which have been summarized in the labels for each pokemon above, but will be reiterated below.
Each of the pokemon also represent a different part of the dragon. So,
Red - Fire/flying - dragon's wings - +Movement/Speed - Prizlocity
Blue - Water/fighting - dragons arms and legs - +Attack - Prizummel
Green - Grass/ground - dragons torso and tail - +Health - Prizflowa

Black - Rock/poison - dragons bones and organs - +consumable items effectiveness - Prizgrimmer
