I reached out to mikeka1maker and asked if she wanted to donate a character or two of hers for the tarot card project, and she asked if she could design two whole new characters specifically for me to put here. So say hello to Pelle (left) and Leela (right), two brand new additions to the cast that mikeka put a lot of effort into. But she didn't stop there! In addition to drawing up new characters and writing brand new backstories, she also drew up very a detailed layout and reference image on how she wanted her characters to be portrayed for me to use. I redrew the image I was given to fit in with the general visual feel of my cards, but the overall pose and outfits are the same, with a few minor discrepancies here and there. I cannot thank mikeka enough for collaborating with me on this card, it was fun to have you onboard.

The 10 of Pentacles shows two women named Pelle and Leela in the courtyard of a castle, symbolizing financial security. Pelle's clothing business has taken off and has served her and her apprentice Leela well. Unfortunately for Leela, this business involved being used to model and advertise the clothing they sell. Leela swears her skirts and dresses keep getting hemmed shorter and shorter by Pelle. Perhaps in a bid by Pelle to help Leela's self-esteem issues. Although, the fact that Leela's thighs and tushy are pretty pale might not help so much. And neither will the granny panties these two dorks wear that are constantly on display for "advertising purposes". Such as now.

At least it will guarantee that wealth and abundance is shared with them.

Would you buy clothes from them? A better question is "Would you buy underclothes from them?"

And of course, this art truly is a collab between me and mikeka1maker with her drawing up the basic poses and compositions to me to translate into my cards. Pelle and Leela belong to her.
