This is an older college piece. This image is not a press print or software drawn and it was made with only three colors. But wait there is more than three colors in this image, you might be thinking. Well you are correct. The image is made up from 8x11 acrylic plastic crafting sheets. Yellow, pink, and blue were the only colors given and our job was to not only make an image but to also make as many colors as we could. Once we had our image approved and all the pieces/layers cut out, it was assembled onto a scanner. Where it was scanned, and printed onto a piece of 18x24 sheet of paper.
The image is a person waring a hood throwing their hands out in front of our faces. What they are doing is up for debate. I like to think dancing but some have told me they look like they are rapping. However, for the longest time my instructor thought it was an image of a chicken. So, honestly I leave it to the viewer to decide.
It is called the Skateboard Idea because I think it would look rather cool on a skateboard.
