Finding time to paint in oils while studying law is in itself a challenge, but one I have enjoyed greatly. There is something so calming about using traditional media, in contrast to drawing digitally.
My concept is Winter’s last stand. While holding a knife and wandering through the forest awakened by spring, she is aware that her rule has come to an end. She is afraid and sees a threat in the most innocent and delicate things, like a beautiful white butterfly.

This has been a very interesting theme to work with and I wish good luck to everybody!
