Zoey Redbird - the main character in the book series: House of Night.
I used Krita, free drawing software, my (only) Wacom tablet, it's the little white and blue one, and my own ideas. XD
I've become really fond and proud of myself in this piece. For one I didn't go after Ripley wearing a whole bunch of Xenomorph gear like I originally thought. It was while I was reading Marked, for the hundredth time, that I thought I should try her instead. And I'm really glad that I did.
This was done in an Art Nouveau kind of style which is really new to me, this is my first time try. I'm proud of myself for pushing to do this.
Any comments towards bettering my art are always welcome, comments regarding appreciation or admiration are welcome as well. Mean and/or hateful commentary is not welcome here, nor will it ever be. If you don't like it, that's fine. I like it and that's enough. <3

Side note here: this is my first time entering any kind of competition with my art. For me, it's nerve-wracking and exciting. Plus I'm happy this is the piece I'm entering with. Thank you for your time and support.

The picture is pretty but I think the noise in the background is a bit distrakting

Anansi-SilverThread1 responds:

I can see it... perhaps without the black starry windows it've been less noisy. Thank you for your input. I appreciate it.
