This creature is called a Creeper and it's part of a game concept I've been developing (the game is called BOL - Ball Of Light).

In it, the hero is trapped in an underground realm with very limited visibility (so advancing is very slow and careful).

The Enemies are all hunters that use senses other than sight - introducing (hopefully) interesting game mechanichs, so the Creeper is a near sighted spider the size of a large dog that hunts in packs. They relay on their webs to pinpoint prey. their layers / game level, is tightly packed with criss crossing webs, that will immobilize small prey, but will only slow down human sized prey, so the player needs to act extra quickly to avoid getting swarmed and eaten.
