Whilst typhos are not allowed to seek medical attention on their own most people that own them will allow them to keep a rudimentary first aid kit. None of them have any sort of medical training whatsoever so a lot of attempts to fix themselves will typically end in infection.

Attempts with the cauterizer tend to go a little better though. I does exactly what it says on the tin. Burns a wound in order to close it.
