PIXEL DAY!!!

Share

HEY GUYS!

This is my first pixel art challenge. I was planning to submit something much bigger, but the project got so big that I did not have enough time to submit it for today! BUT It will show up sometime soon. :P

This is a gif of a seal. I dont know where I got the ideal to do this but I love animals and animal facts so I think that's what inspired me. Hope you like it :)

the whale suffers from readability issues throughout the animation, theres only a couple frames at the end where I could tell what it was supposed to be, a main reason for this is the white underbelly blended in a lot with the sky and sea, maybe in the future strive to create some contrast via a change in the colorscheme or with use of outlines? It would improve the quality some. The fast movements of the whale could also use some smearing to make the entire thing feel smoother.

amenduhh responds:

Thanks for your revisions. I will take that in mind.

IT'S THE CIRRRRRCLE OF LIIIIIIIIIIFE!

Looks adorable and Happy Pixel Day! But the ending is not what I expected to that poor creature...

amenduhh responds:
