Sun is setting over the prisoner. Alone, on her rock, life is starting to look bleak. But she knows they'll come again. Her family. Her friends. Why did she abandon everything she knew just for the fleeting joy of being able to read and write? Maybe she left them, blinded, but they never abandoned her.
Here they come, bearing food and water, to keep her alive. Oh, how she hopes one day they'll forgive her enough to take her away!
