My first Challenge of the Month Participation, please be nice! :)

Since it is my first digital artwork, i struggled with it quite a bit, to be honest and i fist considered submitting to the beginner category. All in all, I had a lot of fun drawing something more cartoony and hope you guys like it.

So this was that Jazza challenge. :) Feels a bit basic compared to your other (newer?) work, but not bad. I think the dark outlines make it a bit restricted/simple somehow. Not bad though.

I totally agree with you, here! The character design was not that strong to begin with. The challenge itself (having to be a simple character design for a mobile game) and the fact, that I was not yet accustomed to drawing digitally added to the struggle...

Nice piece

I like the overal design of the characters and the style appeals to me. I think with some time and practice your style could be developed into something really awesome. On a more critical note, the high contrast of the piece looks a bit weird in some places. I feel that especially the left leg of the hero should be less bright when you compare it to the stomach area. The anatomy of the face could also use some work.

For a first digital piece it looks pretty good as my own stuff was worse when I started out digitally.

Alexandrowic responds:

Thank you. I really appreciate the advise... I'll try to improve on those point the next time.
