Dead of Winter

When it snows, ain't it thrilling? Though your nose gets a chilling.

Somehow a little disturbing, yet, innocent

Ah, simple, disturbing and yet somehow childishly innocent - you've pictured Nene perfectly, with her own blend of malice thrown in there to make it disturbing, but barely.

I love the detail that you've put on her clothing, as the rest of the picture is quite simple, with just three colours on the entire rest of the picture, save for her and the cleaver. It's effective, yet I would have liked to see a little more in the background. Shades of the darker blues could have been used to give the background something to draw the eye around, as opposed to demanding the viewer's focus on the cleaver and what might have happened to person or persons unknown off screen.

Perhaps we'll have a crime scene, connecting to this, with police cars, CSI guys and a bloody streak dripping off shot...

Well this seems real simple to me actually. Do have to say though, she looks real happy with her butcher knife as well while she walks forth in her outfit. Do have to wonder who she killed though anyways. The snow is nice along with sky too. The only thing that could even make this creepier is if she was carrying someone's head actually.

Overall, Nana in the winter is deadly.....

I love the detail in this piece!
The blood, The girl's clothing, and the general anatomy of this... is spot on.
I loved the way the chilling reality of what happening here, really hit me as soon as I opened the page. Personally, I almost immediately let out a pretty loud "Holy Shit" when I first saw this.

If I could change anything;
- The background is slightly bleak, and although this would make a great print (for a T-shirt or something like that); I would have liked to see a more detailed background.
- The snow is kind of boring, and doesn't really show any signs of previous life under it... or she killed someone in the middle of the Antarctic.

Besides that:
Great Work, I really dig it!

This is just not as good as your other pictures because there isn't much in it. The background is all one colour, and there isn't any shading or difference in the snow.
The drips of blood and the foot sinking in the snow are nice effects though.

I won't give this a low score, because the lack of detail is also what attracts me to this picture. All the attraction goes to Nene, who is drawn great. Especially the scarf and the cloud coming out of her mouth make it really look like it's ice cold there.

To make it completely great im my eyes, you will have to make a bit more detailed background, but not so detailed that it pulls all the attention. I certainly am not able to do it, but maybe it's possible for you?

I like this picture even though it's quite brutal. The axe is still dripping with blood, but the girl doesn't seem to care too much. She's happily goose stepping though the snow.

I like the details on the clothing, they look really good. But I think the sky and the snow could use some details as well. Ok, maybe the snow is freshly fallen, but I guess some sort of "dirt" or wind-blown dispersal could add a bit more to the image.
The sky is all greyish, which doesn't look too good either. Maybe some leaves blowing through the air or some darker clouds could give this picture some sort of extra touch.

Overall, the picture is nice, but it needs some more work in the "tiny details" department.
