Ari: You know, we've pretty much explored every last inch of this side of the highway, but it seems so different when I look at it now. In the moonlight, I mean. It looks plain as hell during the day, but at night, it brings out a new glow. The colors soften, the ocean sparkles, even the stars come out to enjoy the scenery. It's moments like this that make the air smell fresh again... But what am I saying? Did I just get poetic?
Ari: Ugh! Stop me before I get too far next time, will ya? I hate it when I get soft.
Nick: Don't deny it. Deep down inside, you're just a big fluffy marshmallow!
Ari: Speaking of marshmallows, I'm dyyyyying for some sweets right now.
Nick: What do you want me to do about that?
Ari: I'm glad you offered. You're paying for my snacks. Hopefully Zeke still has Cinnebuns left over! Let's go.
Nick: ... I MEAN I GUESS I'LL JUST PAY FOR EVERYTHING. SURE WHY NOT.
Ari: That's the spirit! Now move it.
Sorry for the bad exposition. I felt like this needed some context and a few words other than my own. But I'd appreciate yours too! Leave a comment down below, so I know I'm not the only one criticising my work.
This took me about 10 hours from start to finish. I know it's not anything amazing... and it's not, actually. But I had a lot of fun making it and playing around with different colors. Taking bright colors and making them fit into a night time pallet feels incredibly rewarding. I could definitely work on adding details to the environment, but I don't go outside and I have no idea what it looks like haha okay bye!
