Background Buildings are the Towers of Silence , one of the iconic buildings of Caracas , capital of Venezuela and central city , in many stories of Guillermo Meneses. the compocicion has influences of Op art de jesus soto also Venezuelan artist

Guillermo Meneses (Caracas, December 14, 1911 - Porlamar , December 29, 1978 ) was a writer , politician and diplomat Venezuelan remembered as author, among other works, the stories El falso cuaderno de Narciso Espejo.

From the twenties , there was the emergence of metafictional narrative, with the works of Joyce , Proust , Kafka, Faulkner and Virginia Woolf . In them, and one self-consciousness processes fictional creation, which later ( in the fifties ) , would arise as a body of meta-fictional texts manifested . It is in this group precisely the significant name of Guillermo Meneses arises
Miliani , D (1985 ) seen in the novel a ' unraveling constructions " ; on the false notebook ... , as in the myth of Narcissus, the "I" unfolds , it is contemplated in the mirror of the source and questions . The structure separates opposing mirrors and confused , and juxtaposes puts an "I" that is "he" and while "you" , with the otherness of "I" . The novel portrays the narrator Juan Ruiz , who then transcribed notebooks Narciso Espejo. In turn , this character described by Juan Ruiz , reflects on the narrator as a fictional entity and transcribes the papers entrusted to him before committing suicide. These notebooks contain the story of Narcissus Mirror and correspond to the said proper " novel" : The I may have invented some memories of Juan Ruiz, as it may be Juan Ruiz who is telling my story and putting on my real name - as a mask - that pseudonym to mythological half of Narciso Espejo. (Meneses 1952: 106).
Narciso Espejo acts have taken place that should occupy mine (17).
It is observed, in this way, how Juan Ruiz, the narrator, is mirrored in the figure of Narcissus:
"I am so convinced of equal experience, who could tell his life as if he were the narrator. It could yield the "I" of my story-of-factly. Say, "(17)
With respect to these games, in which the characters espejean each other, remember the words of Liscano, J (1984: 88):
More than a free game is fictitious successive confrontations by which, Meneses reaches addressed himself, in search of identity in the evocation of childhood and adolescence Mirror.
In Narciso Mirror own mouth the following words appear: "What I look in the water is all the questions that must give an answer" (Meneses, 1952: 27); Juan Ruiz and I were both, admired daffodils our mirror image (119).
This image Catoptrica is recurrent in the work Mennaisian As noted on another occasion Lasarte Valcarcel, J (1992: 49): "The mirror is strongly linked in particular symbology, de Meneses, the space style writing fiction." How Baltrusaitis, J (1988: 284), the mirror image is created as an image memory. Meneses (1952: 20, 21) writes:
Dyeing vocation mirror (...) Today (...) I feel the attraction of the mirror (...) I decided to write the reflections of my memories, my biography (...). I can also say that nothing saved images lower mirror UN treated.
When I invented chain Acts devised in a way, the most important of the suits got into this game of mirrors my stories (122)
I will deliver Narciso notebook. Their memories. They are written by you. There is nothing wrong with being Narciso Espejo. In suitor accept the reality of reflection "(192)

You seem to have a solid grasp of facial anatomy and lighting. The color choices are bold; the neons in this piece remind me of '80s-styled work. Some of your other pieces have too much saturation for my taste but I think this one has a better balance of neon to normal. I appreciate that you put enough thought into this one to develop a write up for it, but I'm gonna let this crit be solely about the visuals.

The one thing in this illustration that I don't like much is the edge of the beard. The lighter skin tone at the edge gives me the impression that the skin is overlapping the hair, which just looks weird.

2mgdaniel responds:

thank you very much for taking the time to view my work . You are right , my job often takes very lit neons, and this is one where I have been more careful in keeping the sidelines. I think, like you, with repect to the beard , was a matter of trying, bring it out . I appreciate the criticism, for me, are the best way to evolve
