This is part 1.Make sure to watch the other parts! This is my first animation ect so its alittle rough around the edges but it gets better.
Let me know what you think.
This Contains The PROLOGUE (AND) The MOVIE, So dont forget to watch the Movie if you look at the prologue!
A monstrous prologue
Wow, I have alot to say on this movie. First off, I'd like to say that the style is original and it works very, very well. Watching the characters come alive was fun. But there are two major, huge mistakes in this movie that made it almost unbearable for me: the prologue and then the dialogue.
First of all, the prologue was unforgivably long and boring. By the time the prologue was over I was almost done watching the movie. The language you used during the prologue did not deserve to be in a movie that used such original animation style. I have so many horrible things to say about the prologue but I'll avoid it. It's just too bad the to appreciate the movie you have to watch the prologue but it's almost impossible to appreciate the movie if you do watch the prologue.
Second of all, the dialogue. The dialogue is also the same dillemna as is the prologue, because you wrote the dialogue and the prologue. The swearing, tone, and language of the writing in this movie is generic and stupid. Calling zombies 'fuckheads' is so stupid and ameturish I laughed, which is why this movie got a two for humor. The writing desperatly needs work if you are going to use speech bubbles for the rest of the series.
Other then those two things, I was impressed. I enojyed watching the characters move and be put into situations, and the zombie scene was excellent. This movie could have easily been an overall nine or ten if it wasn't for the two blistering mistakes made. I hope they aren't made again in the sequel, which I think I'm looking forward to seeing.
Thanks for your review. I agree with the prologue being way to long. I should have added buttons to go at your own pace! but i hate having to click all the time!
And the diologue is acctually supposed to be alittle funny in some places, prologue and movie. Although it does kinda suck. To be honest, the story and mostly diologue is an afterthought, most effort was put into artwork. thanks for your great review!
You did one hell of a job. Your skills are different than many but in a great way! You had me in suspense the whole time I was watching. And I was eager to see what was going to happen next! Until the "to be continued" sign came up..I was upset.. LOL jk! Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see part 2!! Keep them coming!
that's what i'm talk about, you don't waist your time with what you don't know how to do, you just use your skills and make a kick ass mother fucking movie!!! I'd say, you shouldn't make it any more complicated than making those guys finish heir transmitter retrieval mission thingy, and the rest just a bunch of ass kicking. BUT, if you are a good writer, you oughtta make a comic, cause i'd looooove to see more of your Non flash hand drawn art work and story telling.
dead rain kicks major ass!!!!! see this!!!!
but why did you do all that and not have voices
The newgrounds version wont have voices because of file size limit."my" version will. wee
Hey, I have high speed and this only took a second, what are you talking about? Don't review a movie when you have no idea what it is about. I have to admit, it is a little large, but it's worth the wait. It's very gory that's how I like my movies. Keep it up :)
