I did a lot of cell animation for this episode and the file size got a little big -- my apologies :-[ but! it makes me laugh and laugh.
We are playing the Cafe Paradiso in Eugene OR next tuesday for yous who are around.
Also keep a eye out for naked tricky? :-O
Looks very good, but I didn't find it funny
The animating and artwork are both spot on. The characters, ships and blood spatter all look drawn and animated well. The sound effects of the (ie dying clown, rabid hamster, exploding poodle ship) sound quite good and all suit their situations.
My only qualm was the apparent forcing of the jokes. It felt that this work bases them on a lot of fun ideas (ie; Poodles biting into a dog bone and saying "what's up dog") but the script overuses these fun ideas. Also I felt that this piece is in an awful rush to get itself over with, and didn't take any time to establish what it is about. What I mean is, we kill the poodle ship, jump into a credits, jump into a celebration, kill the fat clown and jump into the end celebration. With the rushing of this story's structure, the jokes are losing their spontaneity and are not as fun as they can be.
Suggestion for number 3. Take your time when you're making this. Ease your viewer into each joke and try not to rush toward your ending. If you want anything to be funny, you have to let your audience establish themselves in your work.
You are on the right track. Your artwork and sounds are great. All you need to do is slow down your story. Good luck with your next project.
Hehehe, I like Violence :P
Good Graphics, but no humor
The graphics of the ships as well as the clowns were quite good. On the other hand, the only parts I found even slightly humorous was when the alien dude blew his head off, and when the clown before he got attacked by that um dog...was honking his horn. Otherwise then that, the animation was quite boring.
funny, i liked it, any one 4 a cyber
