Now that was awsome, the black and white really gives it life, great art with the design and shadowing, animation is slow at times but then picks up, great story aswell, i remember the earler ones they are all great, congrats on the award btw, keep up the superb work...

excellent job
i just watched the whole series; it was very well-thought out and innovative. only one thing, i gave you a 6 for sound because the voices were a bit silly towards the end, especially the morticians; i mean it became downright silly at the end with his flailing arms and whatnot. great job overall, ill keep an eye out for the next series.

Part V The culmination.
The sound has improved (especially the voices) -still needs more creepy piano though. I would have made the scenery a bit more creepy. There was a streetlight in the background that I thought was out of place. Maybe should have occurred in a dark alley or in some abandoned warehouse where the background was vague and left more to the mystery. Midway through it turned from vampire to poltergeist and the exorcist. The doll could have said, "I want to play now" after she multiplied and then "I go by byeeeeeee" after her head rolled on the sidewalk. Also there could have been lightning in the sky. I like when the magician's face was all scratched up and when the dolls just seem to melt away. Great series-it shows you put a lot of thought into planning before you started working with flash. I'll take a look at your site.
Hi-
I read all of your reviews and thank you for the well thought out critique. I appreciate comments like yours, as they contribute to the future of the series. Thanks for taking the time to write all of your reviews. Right now, I am adding more creepy music to the new adventure (I write the main theme, but Science Friction Music does the filler stuff) and am looking forward to making this next one, "La Maudite" filled with lightning and increased overall creepiness. Thanks again.

You can VOTE on these things?
I just dropped in on the Dr. Shroud site, and I wish I had found out about Dr. Shroud sooner. When is the next series coming out? I think I'd like to try this voting idea out.
(As for the Attack of the Draculoids, I wonder what would've happened if the voters decided that Dr. Shroud WOULDN'T attack the brain machine. I guess we'll never know....)
Hey there-
I am really glad you liked the site!! The next adventure, "La Maudite", will be out this summer. You will be able to vote with each installment, but only at DrShroud.com. You can see it on Newgrounds, but the voting aspect only takes part on the official site. It's a true vote, as I only work on it once the votes have been cast. Sign up for the mailing list for more updates. As for the big brain, well, we never will know. Heh, heh. ;)
