I did this because i'm really pissed off...

I didn't exactly think we were ready to go to war in the first place, and now we have friendly fire here there and everywhere i'm pissed off... i'm sure there are many other people that agree... This isn't much, but i think it displays how much of a joke this war has become... unfortunately it is a joke that has cost lives.

If you're going to call the war a joke, then please explain yourself! I'm very tired and unamused of people expressing their opinions on this war without any proof or precedence on why they feel that way. Jesus.

"a joke?"

date: March 23, 2003

if it has turned into a joke, its because of cynical anti-war hippies like you. i have a great idea, lets pull out of iraq, wait till saddam gets his shit rebuilt and thn he attacks us! its brilliant! after going this far, theres no turning back. besaides, if it hadnt been started, whos to say one of saddams sons wouldnt try to continue his fathers work (building weapons) after his death, and then he could attack. its us or them and frankly, im glad theyre the ones getting bombed

alright. in every war there is friendly fire and same side casualties. you cant go into war and not expect it. also, the war has just begun. these may be the only same side casualties we see. if thier not, which im not doubtful of, there will be many more same side casualties. there is nothing to wake up to, my friend. we are aware of the casualties and were aware that we would have to surrender lives of our own to win a cause when we went into war. we are already awake, its not as if the government is hiding these casualties from us. on another note, we did not lose the war because of casualties. like i said, every war is bound to have a few. its something we need to accept if we want to win and change whats wrong.

OK, did honestly think there would be no freindly fire? Any everyone doesn't realize how the other end feels. We freak out about losing soldiers, how many Iraqi do you think have died? This is war, not a video game. And the news makes it seem like it is some 24-Hour TV Show. These are real peoples lives on both sides. And all you Anti-War people need help. Honestly, I think a war is a lot better, than living in Saddam's "Government".

hmmmmm
well that wasn't to bad was it?
well actually yes but it was good in a way.
Very complicated shit :-S
I have to agree with the last guy who reviewed the movie.
That is Freedom is worth some lifes and what the hell!
They would die of the leadership of Sadam some day some how!
but it's now almost over.
By the way.
WW II was a little like this.
The allies USA and UK didn't really cared if some people died in bombings, I can't blame them!!
If they wouldn't have fought a war we still would be supressed by Hitler's regime.
Than you get a feeling how worthy freedom really is!
It's more worth than my life I think.
Cause I would sacrific myself for the freedom of my country!!!!!!!!!!

hmm
That was pretty clear wansn 't it??
well It was a ok movie guess....

I get your message man. However, with all due respect, if you don't closely know people in the military or are not in the military yourself, you can't comprehend the mere logistics involved in major combat operations. Putting so many people in close proximity to each other in a war, friendly fire is inevitable no matter how cautious a force is. I'm not saying "Hooray, I'm glad we lost people to friendly fire!" but at the same time, you must understand whats going on.

From reading the other responses, its obvious you aren't a Bush supporter. I hope to God you aren't one of those people that thinks the Iraq conflict was just a big oil grab, as thats the most intellectually lazy response one could give to such a situation.

And your movie was wrong. We won the war.
