I agree totally with Pirate-Sorceror, for all the afore-mentioned points. Also, I have played several Muliplayer FF-esque games, and magic always defeats strength. Magic sacrifices the user's physical power for the ability to use magical attacks, which are way more powerful. Point in argument, Fighter, level 20, equipped with optimum epuipment, would do... 300-400 damage tops! Black Mage, level 20, stark naked, could cast Firaga (fire-lvl3) which does over 700 damage to every target on the screen, that's potentially over 6300 damage, if there is 9 targets. You hate magic-users, that's obvious by your movie, but don't make a totally crap-ass one just to say so.

1) Blackbelts CANNOT use magic. EVER.

2) Red mages can use more powerful spells than FIRE1. The red mage also knows white magic (which means he could've healed himself) & he can also fight.

3) White mage was still alive so she could've killed blackbelt with her hammer or brougt black mage back to life & had him use another hadoken.

4) Black belt used the hadoken to win. That means Black belt used magic to win, so magic won, NOT force. This flash is called "FF 1 - Force Vs. Magery", NOT "FF 1 - Fighting Classes Vs. Mage Classes".

I would like to note that White Mage could just of A. Cured or Revived BM, or B. hit BB with a hammer, and other ways of killing. Magic still wins in my book.

I pretty much agree with you. Magic sucks for the most part. Especially in Final Fantasy 10. Lulu was worthless once you get far enough. It’s all about the Quick Hit, nothing else matters. Well, maybe Waka’s Attack Reels….maybe.
