This movie was made to emphasize three points:
1) If you could do stuff like this in Resident Evil 0, Rebecca would be a lot more useful.
2) Zombies take ridiculous amounts of handgun bullets to kill.
3) Mentos still rock.

It is true, mentos can save you when ever, why just the other day i was face to face with bob barker, and when i thought he was about to get me, i poped a mentos. Well wouldnt ya have it, Im alive and old bob, well we'll just say old bob isnt doing so well. O and keep up the good work.
