This was made in 2000?

That's amazing quality for such an old flash :D
Yes, we should all be anarchists...
an ironic time for freedom
I almost gave it an 8 but why not.. 9; using shadow to portray that this could be anyone's life path, depicting the all of the familiar concepts like the evil boss shown with sharp teeth and evil eyes looming larger than life at first, the annoying constantly chattering secretary that seemed to draw the viewer deeper into the scene by her speech blending with the frantic music... all very nicely put together.
I have a few critiques, take them or leave them as you wish: the subject and content deserve a real response so I'll tell you, I felt the music never changed at all to emphasize anything which would have helped a little, I felt the transition near the end moving to the outside roof was too abrupt almost like a rush to finish or maybe there could have been something more fitting to show a wearying passage of time. I say that because the snapping of his bonds was such a beautiful and ironic moment. I can almost hear "World That I Know" by Collective Soul, except that guy didn't jump; bold high-contrast message for viewers to unpack once we see him as a person. nice work.
That really spoke to me. It made a lot of sense, and I loved it. :)
