October 29th update:
Multiplayer version is ONLINE!!

Tactics Core is a 100% Flash based game engine for developing Strategy RPGs in Flash. I've created a demo game to show what it can do. You'll find it quite challenging at first, but once you figure out how all the units attack, it'll be much easier. Also, if you're lucky, the most powerful unit, Daemon, might appear on your team! Visit for more info!

Thanks all for your feedback =)
As most of you have noticed, I incorporated the turn queueing system from FFT, however the battle system is more reminiscent of DK4, where you acquire many distinct units, each of which has only one specific function to make it easier to learn for a Flash game.

I have exceeded the bandwidth limit on my server so this demo is hosted on Newgrounds now, and the instructions will no longer show while it is loading.

Once again, Thank you Newgrounds =)

Its not that hard to win actually, its a lot of fun, and it took me three tries to win, and i liked how the graphics were, everything is great(except humor) but thats ok and everything else was so good it didn't matter

A flash game well done!

Such a wonderful RPG game done in a refreshing style in flash. The graphics are very well drawn, though the framerate lags a little. Nevertheless, the characters' actions and attacks are excellent. Good job!

cool, but boring after losing 300 times in a row

winning at this game is way to hard, there should be different difficulty levels so if you normally suck at this kind of game you can get the hang of it at an easier level whitout having your ass kicked every time.

and i don't think there should be the half waiting time if no actions were used. this ends up in an uneven number of turn and the computer opponent always ends up with 3 to 4 turns in a row, giving them more than enough time to surround and rape any one of your players.

also, the teams should be 100% evenly matched. i want my healer unit to be able to distance heal as well! and it would really be useful if i also had a magic resistant mystical sorceress. and another thing, that guy with the bow and arrow, that should be a crossbow (however you spell it), and he should be able to fire it at point blank range for more damage. that would make total sense. either you keep him safe and fire from a distance, at the cost of less damage dealt, or you take a chance and go up close, and as a reward for taking a chance you deal more damage.

and one more thing....... it's nearly impossible to win if every time they deal damage it's for 600+ hp, and whenever you deal damage it's usually around 300 - 400 (with the exception of the 2 magic guys).

ok, ONE last thing.. why do they have 3 units capable of using magic while we're given only 2? the sides should be completely and totally even.
