October 29th update:
Multiplayer version is ONLINE!!

Tactics Core is a 100% Flash based game engine for developing Strategy RPGs in Flash. I've created a demo game to show what it can do. You'll find it quite challenging at first, but once you figure out how all the units attack, it'll be much easier. Also, if you're lucky, the most powerful unit, Daemon, might appear on your team! Visit for more info!

Thanks all for your feedback =)
As most of you have noticed, I incorporated the turn queueing system from FFT, however the battle system is more reminiscent of DK4, where you acquire many distinct units, each of which has only one specific function to make it easier to learn for a Flash game.

I have exceeded the bandwidth limit on my server so this demo is hosted on Newgrounds now, and the instructions will no longer show while it is loading.

Once again, Thank you Newgrounds =)

A Game Of Epic Proportions

This is the hardest flash game I have ever played. I've been playing it for years and it's still a great game. I lament that this hasn't developed beyond a demo because the potential it has is tremendous. Probably the best constructed flash strategy game I've ever played. Highly innovative, gripping, intelligent, challenging, and fun, Tactics Core really delivers.

A Treasured Masterpiece

I actually enjoyed the demo a lot, because you actually use quite some strategy to ensure that your team would win the entire way. This is what tactic games really should be all about.

As I anticipated, the Splash Damage from mage classes can really make or break the way you intend to gain a victory. But that is just my own honest opinion.

The only suggestion I would have given back then is if there was some sort of marked banner or a colored uniform that was placed on each unit to distinguish between both sides a little more easily. Like Final Fantasy Tactics, this one is also considered in the books. A truly treasured masterpiece.
