Be sure to check out my NG page for info on the upcoming Uniwar novel (now titled The Ideal Soldier).
Our website has changed. It is now www.idealsoldier.com . The old urls in the flash game no longer work.
My email has changed. It is now firstname.lastname@example.org. The old address no longer works.
Check out the new prequel to this here: http://tinyurl.com/yzeu4d
and the enhanced Flash 8 version here:
This Flash game is Nintendo Wii compatible.
This Flash game is in no way associated with the Uniwar iPhone game. This game predates the Uniwar iPhone game by nine years.
I have updated the graphics in Level 1 (sorry not Level 2) for the one year anniversary in 2001. That is why level 1 looks better than 2.
I've been getting tons of reviews saying "make level 2!" There already is one! Just check under my other works in the lower left.
Fun but Challenging
Loved the game, but is there any way to keep the mech from hitting you?
No. If I knew how to program it at the time, I would have.
I remember playing this alot.....
.......When i first came to newgrounds. Still can't get enough of it.
(P.S. I know the mech's weak spot. But he still remains a challenge for me)
here's an interesting cheat then: if your mouse is compatible with microsoft's intellimouse drivers, set one of your mouse buttons to doubleclick and every time you click on the bosses weakness, it hits him twice.
Tottaly unrelated but,can you make a shooting range 2?
I doubt I will, but I'll think about it when I need a break from uniwar.
A very good game
It's just a bit dated, that's all. Oh and to answer people's questions on how to kill the mech, shoot its windows
unfortunately, unlike combat instinct, i don't quite feel this stands the test of time.
Okay not bad but the characters were WEIRD and idiotic. Some parts of teh game were stupid...
I'm sorry I couldn't draw back in 2001 dude.
Context? Context is for casuals.
