This is my first all-Flash anime short, and first submission to any site like this.

This is not broad comedy -- it is intended for a literary audience, specifically fans of the writings of H.P. Lovecraft. If you are not such a person and watch this anyway, you may want to read this first before you write a review.

The voice actresses, for those who wondered, are linked to on my own site, and you can look forward to hearing them again in upcoming animation projects.

For more info on H.P. Lovecraft and his works referenced in this short, I highly recommend this site: http://www.gizmology.net

I didn't get the humor but...

I realy didn't understand why the skelleton was beating it's head on the coffin but that realy doesn't matter except to people to understand the humor. I realy loved the graphics and the voices were clear and crisp as some one might put it.

hmmm...

well, actually I'm not somebody how luaghs about "broad comedy" as you call it, and I always apreciate it, when somebody creates a story/film/song with a deeper meaning.
But this is so wannabe, I didn't like it.

Awesome.

H.P. Lovecraft is a masterful author. And I bet he would hate to see his Elder God be turned into a plush toy. Haha my friend happens to have a plush Cuthulhu, from Hawaii of course.

My H.P. Lovecraft is a little rusty...

... it took me a little while to get the Cutethulhu reference. Not only was this funny, the sound and imagery was outstanding! I'm a huge fan of anime and this was better than a lot of "professional" creations I've seen. I also see a series starting here, or could I be wrong? The reference to that "... strange little toy store..." implies there could be further adventures with strange toys and cute anime girls. If this was something you did a long time ago, then you should have your own animation company by now! Keep up the superb work and I eagerly await further masterpieces from you.
