*Storyline*
Attention Macross / Robotech fans, this animations storyline is an alternative version of the original.
If you haven’t watched part one, go watch it!
Also, If you like ANIME like this, when your done watching, go check out Clifton’s Zodiac series. The drawling is a bit rounded but it is well made and well planned.
Explanation:
Look for the green text. It explains when the flashback takes place, and when it ends, you just have to look for it. What your seeing in the flash back is Rays memory of when he and his grandpa are looking at the starts on there fishing boat when the SDF-1 first crash-lands on earth. It then swiches back to present time.
About the music:
I know it is from LOTR. I loved those movies. Their sound track is the best I have ever heard from Howard Shore! I try to get music that is really great and powerful on its won, and "write" flash to it. The animations are basically built around the structure of the music, but since there is no way for me to time everything the way I want it, I have to have very level music that is not to full of ups and downs that can land at the wrong place. This song from the LOTR sound track fit perfectly. The only alternative was the a song from the sound track of Armageddon, but it had too many ups and downs.
It is kind of odd how some people love it since it has LOTR music and some people love it because of it.
The 3D MODELS
I Just read a comment that pissed me off. It suggested that I just RIPED OFF the 3D models.
W-R-O-N-G!
EVERY single 3D model you see in the film before you was built from scratch by myself on my computer. That can be proved.

**UPDATE***
I’m working on a website right now that will explain everything and have a short biography for each character in R O B O T E C H: The Great War. Once it is done, I highly advise that anyone who wants to know what is going on in Robotech TGW, should go there and read a bunch. But I know a lot of people are too lazy to do that so I will try to explain everything in the films.
