Mystic Island part 1 of 4. This is the story of a man named Sam, who gets stranded on a strange island with a homicidal lunatic. A cult hit! (Or so I would like to believe.)

Classic! Love these animations, love mystic island series a lot. God dang, this was released almost 15 years ago and still it's a classic and funny. I miss the early 2000s animations so much, but very few animations nowadays are good. Love this, it's been very long, 15 long years since this was released. I watched this way back in 2007 or 2008, when I was only 7 or 8 years old, man the gore and language made me there, good times.

Nicely Presented

The first thing I enjoyed about this flash was definetly the opening music. That told me right away it'd be nicely presented and a good comedy. The voice acting was very nicely done which made the flash all the more funny. The pause after he said "dead chicks can't say no" made me laugh pretty hard the comedy in this is just so well brought up. The really long pause after he says "we almost ate you" was also well put in, I'd certaintly be creeped out if that happened to me. My favorite part about this flash other than the music was "the festive jack-o-lantern" very nicely done the pace and sense of timing was just perfect.

Some parts of the flash like the waves and the background really could have more effort into them to make the series more enjoyable. Also some of the pauses in the flash were longer than neccessary.

This is one of my favorite flashes of 2000 if not the best, very nice pilot to the series I have yet to watch the rest of the series so keep up the great work!

I'll admit I went into this with fairly low expectations. The look of this movie was initially very offputting. I've never been a big fan of stick figure animation, so
imagine my surprise at watching this and finding myself amused to hell!

Yes, the film doesn't look the greatest, a mixture of being 11 years old and using basic stick figures for all the characters (even going so far as to just numbering all the extra characters, which I will admit was also pretty funny!). But the humor overshadowed all the crappiness of the look in spades!

From the crashing silence that descends whenever an inappropriate comment is made in the beach scene, to the looks of horror after Norm does a little pumpkin carving, the humor was just brilliant. And of course, the movie was surprisingly violent too, with Norms butchering of poor number 5, including some nasty looking stick figure mouth slitting!

Really, if more time was spent making the characters proper figures and not stick figures, this would have been a 10//10 for me. But I look forward to watching the rest of this as it is hilarious!
