Can you find all the letters? Can you discover the secret message? I hope so. You need to save his life.

This game was made for a YouTube challenge. However, I failed to deliver in time.
I didn't want to give up on this game, since I made lots of things, so here it is, FIRST.
And it marks the beginning of a new era for me, since it's the first game made in my new computer with new sprite tools.

Credits:

Me: Main sprites, story, game design and level design.
Freepik: they have the best free vector art.
Freesound.org: the best place for free sfx, so far.

Special thanks to:

My friends, that tested my game and praised it without me paying them for that. (LOL)
Aseprite: nice sprite and animation editor aaand they are sooo good at turning everything into pixel art. That's why Freepik.
Pyxel Edit: excellent tools for making tilesets and they have the best exporter, since you can scale every single sprite without ruining resolution.
Youtuber Cellbit: For inspiring me to make a puzzle game. And the creator of that challenge I failed to deliver (no shame, I'm a grown up kid).

Hope you like it. And if not, tell me why with respect.

the screen is a bit too small and the game is a bit strange looking but i believe it has a lot of potential and the creater has probably learned a lot from it, i would have more stars it this was still an in dev game

Unfourtualtly, I didn't find out the puzzle, but I know that you put a lot of hard work into it, so I will give you 4 stars! Also, I found some letters, but I didn't know what words I could have made with them. I tried for about 20 mins but I still didn't figure it out, the title and the words at the beginning didn't help. Next time, can you make some things easier or more understandable?
Thank you for understanding.

I was thinking about this. Making puzzle games like these are funny, since some people find it hard and others find it easy... next time, I'm thinking about making more intuitive puzzles and riddles so I can proceed with storytelling.

Thanks for the comment! :)

I guessed the answer (because I'm not as good with puzzles as CellBit) and got it right! (I must be really messed up...)

Either way, it was fun looking for clues, and I actually hope you continue this...

Thank you, my friend! :D
