Move through tons and tons of levels plagued with slimes while you shoot them dead.

This submission was uploaded for the GMTK Jam. The game was made in less than 48 hours and had as a theme Downwell's Dual Purpose Design.

How does this match the theme?

To match the theme, we tried to apply dual purpose (or more purposes) to every thing we could.
In order to achieve this, you move around while shooting, which lets you kill the enemies and also get bullets from them. Also, if you are shooting, the time for your enemies will move faster and if you don't, the time will move slower.

Your bullets are your score (the final amount of bullets left before dying) as well as your ammunition. But be careful because if you run out of bullets, you die.

Gameplay -------> Loved playing this game! The only problem I found was that one time I couldn't move (you can see in my gameplay) besides that, I got addicted to the game instantly!

Amazing! What a great concept - I especially love it more after reading your deep "dual-purposing." Bravo!

Great concept, poorer execution. With one-hit-death mechanic it's vital to maintain reliable game mechanics. And here I see 2 critical problems. 1 - enemies seem to move before the animation, I can't predict where the enemy will move and all to often I seem to die without reason just by being in proximity to green enemies. 2 - Next level teleportation sometimes places me in a crowd of enemies, you just don't have the time to make decisions before you get killed, very unfair mechanic considering one-hit-death.

fairly interesting game.

the music and graphics mesh well and fit with the gameplay, and i like how you control using your gunshots, though the inverse shots is quite hard to get used to which isn't a problem but since the game is single hit based it doesn't leave much of an oportunity to get used to the mechanics before dying.

also while writing this review i've noticed that the loop is quite repetitive, only having one higher intensity part before cutting off, during the gameplay it's fine since you're focusing on movement and attacking though on its own it can get grating after a while.

Thank you for the review! This game was made in less than 48hs so probably that's why isn't as poolished as we would like to. Anyway, about the music, if you where in the dead screen, it is shorter than the menu one or the two gameplay ones (so yes, it is very repetitive, sorry for that!).
Thanks again for the review and for playing it!
