A short story about an adventurer and his home, and the people who begin living there with him.

All art, programming and music was done by me.

The text system is Fungus, a free, and excellent, tool for Unity.

its of coarse about an adventure and his home not much happens out of the home but its still a hart warming story if you chose the right choices i keep to my morals and dident do anything stupid mostly its a good thing but i would like a little more talktive npcs it would improve it alot more up to 4.5 stars

Very good game. Your choices do not change the end of the story, or the long run of the story. However they will have minor small effects on the contents of the story. In the end, the game is more a straight forward visual novel than an actual game with any good or bad choices.

I liked this A LOT. I love your story. I love the premise of the story. I love the moral of the story. However, I think there could have been an improvement. What if every day you went out and accomplished these tasks instead of reading about them? You could implement it as an R.P.G. system, etc. Nothing too exciting, in fact, I wonder if the story would benefit if the small quest was kind of mundane. So, you do your little daily quest and then are welcomed to the comforts of home. Anyways, it's your game and it's already good. I just thought I'd add a thought to my review.

Thanks for the feedback! That does sound like a good idea and I actually wanted to do something similar when I was making it. The only problem was that this was my first real attempt at finishing a game so I had even less skill than I do now and putting in simple RPG elements was a bit outside my range of abilites at the time. If I make a third game in the Home series then I definitely want to put in more RPG style gameplay and flesh out the story and characters much more.

I enjoyed the story and dialogue, but it's a bit disappointing that your choices have no control over the story. It also doesn't matter if you interact with the characters or not. While I enjoyed the story by itself I wish there was more that made it a game.

Very cool game with a great story. I really liked it! The only thing I didn't like though is that the text system didn't really fit with the game, but other than that I rate it a solid 9/10

Thanks for playing! That last point you made about the text system sounds interesting. Would you mind explaining what about it you didn't like or what you think could've fit the game better? It could be some pretty useful feedback.

Thanks again!
