Everything is nice, beautiful, but why is he forced to play only one specific pattern? I am currently playing with your scheme (because I like it) and here I see the game is not to complete by playing this way

Next time designing a game think about a better balance so that the game can be completed in many different ways

I give 2 stars for the beautiful design itself

Hi, thanks for the review! I really appreciate it!
What do you mean by the specific pattern? Is it about the upgrades that you can purchase?
Btw there is a "reset" button in the upgrades screen (at right bottom) in case you want to reset all the purchases.

really annoying.

the constant nonstop infuriating patronizing tutorial at the start.

stop making me click so much to spam past it and start.

then i start playing

i hold down mouse on a spot and am shooting. i move mouse to another spot but it keeps shooting at my first target until i release mouse and click again. i've never seen mouse shooting handled like that in any game. i honestly think it's a bug. very bad design

i like the music. you probably weren't the one who made it lol.

I think you spent WAY too much effort on the animations and menus and too little on actual game play. It would have been fun but all the popup menu and tutorial things annoyed me to the point I was not interested in playing past a few levels.

Pros:
-Style: looks great, has flavor
-Sound: fitting, nothing to seriously complain about. A bit repetitive.

Cons:
-Controls: clunky and unreliable, this is a game that'd be better off with keyboard, not mouse controls. The gun feels sluggish and clicking buttons to activate powerups gets in the way of staying alive. Expanding the clickable area to skip text would help.
-Gameplay: see above about the controls, but the, "Got it!" messages aren't needed. I stopped on the second level when the cats just flew past you. Make the ship controllable always.
-Spelling: English isn't your first language, I assume, and that's understandable. This, however, needed serious proofreading before being released.
-Boring: it's just boring, but good attempt. Keep practicing.

Wow, what a great review!
- controls - working on it, it looks like there is a bug with controls in WEB version on ng (other places/versions have no this bug), I will try to figure out how to fix it.
Thank you!

Most of this game is fine, but it has a few flaws that make it hard to enjoy.

The biggest one is that, as far as I can tell, there are no hotkeys for items or secondary weapons. They're weak enough that a lot of the time, you'd be better off just firing more instead of moving your mouse to use them.

I found the difficulty okay mostly by respeccing every new set of levels. I think that's really the only option due to the elemental meteors. Given this, I'd recommend you make it free and encourage it. The "come back when your guns are stronger" tip is useless when the games doesn't really let you grind in any way (except for gold, which I basically didn't use).

The Flappy Bird and repair levels are fine as a change of pace, but also nothing special. It's kind of obnoxious that many of your upgrades don't really matter here, it makes them seem less useful overall.

GeneralWu responds:

Thanks! Hotkeys will be available in next upcoming version. About upgrades - that don't really matter in fb and repair levels - agree, but still searching how to solve it...
Btw, what do you mean by "I'd recommend you make it free and encourage it". To make upgrades free?
